Step-by-Step Instructions

1. The Daisy Flower Head

Flower Center: In Sunflower Yellow, make a MR. Ch 1, work 10 sc into ring. Sl st to first sc to join. Fasten off yellow. (10 sts)
White Petals: Join Crisp White yarn in any sc with a sl st. *Ch 3, 3 dc in same st, ch 3, sl st in same st. Sl st into next st; repeat from * 9 more times to create 10 distinct, petal clusters around the flower. Fasten off white and weave in ends.

2. The Stem Strap

Join Sage Mint yarn to the back of one lower petal using a sl st. Chain 55 (approx. 8 inches). Starting in 2nd ch from hook, work 1 sl st in each ch all the way back up to the flower for a neat, durable flat cord. Sl st to back of flower and fasten off.

3. The Pastel Tassel

Wrap Sage Mint yarn 15 times around a 3-inch piece of cardboard. Slide a 6-inch yarn tail under the top loops and tie tightly. Cut bottom loops open. Wrap another yarn piece around the top neck to form the tassel head. Attach securely to the bottom tip of your bookmark cord!
