Foundation Chain: Chain any even number of stitches (e.g. 26 chains for a sample swatch).
Row 1: Work 1 sc into the 4th chain from your hook. *Ch 1, skip 1 chain, 1 sc into next chain; repeat from * across to the end of the row. Ch 2, turn.
Row 2: Skip the first sc. Work 1 sc into the first chain-1 space from the previous row. *Ch 1, skip next sc, 1 sc into the next chain-1 space; repeat from * across. Work your final sc into the turning chain-space at the end. Ch 2, turn.
Row 3 and Beyond: Simply repeat Row 2 for as many rows as desired! Working into the chain spaces rather than the stitch loops makes it super fast and relaxing.
